Is home sample collection available in Lucknow?
Yes, for selected tests in selected parts of Lucknow, and availability is confirmed when you ask. It is not promised for every test, every area or every time of day.
Collection also depends on the test. Some tests need the sample at a set time, some need special handling and some need preparation that the team must plan. The team tells you what is possible when you ask. If home collection is not possible, you can book a lab visit at the centre instead.
Which tests can be collected at home?
Samples for selected blood and pathology tests may be collected at home, and the team confirms which ones for your request. Tests that need a scan or a procedure happen at the centre.
- Possible, if the team confirms: selected blood and other pathology tests, and the sample parts of some health packages.
- At the centre only: imaging, X-ray, ultrasound and procedures. A health package that includes a scan still needs a visit to the centre for that part.
- Not sure: if your test is not on this page, ask the team, and send the prescription if they ask for it.
To see what is in a health package, read the health packages page. To read about the tests themselves, see the pathology lab page.
What to send when you ask for a home visit
Send these five details on WhatsApp, or say them on the phone.
- Patient name.
- Mobile number where the team can reach you.
- Test or package. Name it, or say what your doctor asked for.
- Preferred date. A second choice helps if the first is not possible.
- Area. Give the locality in Lucknow first. The team will tell you what else it needs, such as a full address, once collection is confirmed.
Send only what is needed. You do not need to share your medical history, a policy number or identity documents in the first message.
How to prepare for a home visit
Prepare only after the team confirms that collection is possible and tells you what to do. Do not start fasting before that, because preparation differs by test and some tests need none.
- Fasting: only if the team confirms it for your test. Plain water is fine.
- Medicines: keep taking your prescribed medicines unless your doctor has told you otherwise, and tell the team what you take.
- Time: be available at the time the team confirms, with your phone switched on.
- Clothing: sleeves that roll up above the elbow make the sample easier to take.
- How you feel: tell the team if you have a fever or tend to feel faint when blood is taken.
Do not start, stop or change a medicine because of a sample visit. Your own doctor decides that.
What to keep ready
Keep these within reach before the time the team confirms.
- Your doctor's prescription, or the names of the tests you need.
- A form of ID. Ask the team whether they need to see it.
- Earlier reports for the same tests, if your doctor wants them compared.
- A list of your current medicines.
Safety and privacy for a home visit
Confirm your visit with the centre itself, on +91 70809 82920 or 0522-3180995, and not with a number you found somewhere else. Share only the details the team needs to confirm it.
- Pay only as the team has confirmed. Do not pay anyone the team has not confirmed.
- Ask the collector's name when they arrive, and call the centre if anything seems wrong.
- Check the sample labels. Ask that your name is written on each sample before the collector leaves.
- Keep financial details private. Do not share a card number, a bank PIN or a one-time password with anyone about a sample visit.
- Ask how your report is shared, and give only the number or email address you want it sent to.
If you would rather not have anyone visit, you can come to the centre during opening hours. See contact us for the address and hours.

- Chest pain, sudden breathlessness or fainting.
- Weakness of the face, arm or leg, trouble speaking or sudden confusion.
- Vomiting blood, black stools or heavy bleeding that will not stop.
- Extreme thirst, vomiting and drowsiness, if you have diabetes.
