How to use these health guides
Start with the question you have, not the name of a test. If you have a symptom or a diagnosis, read the matching article first. If your doctor has named a test, go straight to that test's page.
The articles explain a condition in plain words: what it is, what to watch for and when to get help. The test pages explain what a test shows, how to prepare and what happens on the day.
- Understand a condition: open one of the four health articles.
- Get ready for a test: open its test page for fasting, a full bladder and what to bring.
- Noticed a breast change: read the breast health guides, then book a check.
- Choose a health package: read the package page that matches your doctor's question.
A guide cannot examine you, so it cannot tell you what is wrong. Use it to understand your report and to prepare questions, then take those questions to your own doctor.

Open the pageHow we write these guides
Each guide is written for patients, in plain English. We explain a medical word the first time it appears, keep sentences short and put the answer first.
The facts follow standard medical references and public health guidance. We leave out medicine doses and brand names, because those are for your doctor to decide, and we never tell you to start, stop or change a medicine.
Every page shows the date it was last updated at the foot of the page. If your own doctor's advice differs from a guide, follow your doctor, who knows your history.
Where a topic is outside what the centre does, the guide says so. The mental well-being article, for example, points you to a doctor or counsellor, because the centre does not provide mental health care.
Using the health guides: common questions
Can I use these health guides instead of seeing a doctor?
No. The guides give general information so you can understand a condition or a test and prepare your questions. They cannot examine you or diagnose you. See your own doctor for any symptom that is new, severe or getting worse.
Which health guide should I read first?
Read the one that matches your question. If you have a diagnosis or a symptom, start with the health articles. If your doctor has named a test, open that test page. If you have noticed a change in your breast, start with the breast health guides.
When should I see a doctor instead of reading a guide?
Get care at once for chest pain, sudden breathlessness, weakness of the face, arm or leg, trouble speaking, heavy bleeding, severe abdominal pain or thoughts of harming yourself. Go to the nearest hospital emergency department. Do not wait for an appointment or for a guide.
Can I book a test from these pages?
Yes. Each test and package page has booking buttons, and you can also message +91 70809 82920 on WhatsApp or call 0522-3180995. Some tests need a doctor's prescription. The team will tell you what is needed and how to prepare.
Does the centre offer mental health care?
No. The mental well-being article gives general information only. The centre is a diagnostic centre, so for low mood, anxiety or stress that lasts, speak to your own doctor or a qualified counsellor.
How do I know a health guide is up to date?
Each guide shows the date it was last updated at the foot of the page, and its facts follow standard medical references. Medical advice can change, so if your own doctor says something different, follow your doctor.
Where can I find breast health information?
The breast health guides on this page cover mammography, 3D mammography, breast ultrasound, breast lumps, breast pain, nipple discharge and breast cancer screening. Most breast changes are not cancer, but each one needs a proper check.
